I want to proxy an item which I cannot see on the app as I believe it is going to be highly sought after and people want to buy

A

In the rare event that an item isn’t listed on the app, please email us at request@proxyeed.co.uk If we deem the demand to be there, and the product fits in our product and brand guidelines, we will upload the item. Due to the sheer volume of requests we receive, we aren’t able to update you on specific requests, but please keep checking back in on the app to see if the product has been listed.

What do I do when I am collecting items?

A

If you are collecting an item, then when you paid for the item on the app, you will have been given a security code. Present this code, along with ID to any member of staff at the store and we will give you your items.

What is the drop off/collection about?

A

We know how important it is for some of you guys who love and appreciate the product so much that you cannot wait for it, so we have a drop off & collection centre. The way this works is as follows; When listing your services as a proxy, you will be asked if you can drop off at our Soho store. If they select yes, then when buyers are browsing items, they can either browse by items which are available for collection, OR they will see if the item is available for collection when they click on a particular proxy.

Where do the items get shipped to?

A

The items get shipped to the address you provide in the app.

Someone has paid for an item I am no longer able to get, what happens now?

A

On your app, for the particular item you will need to select; Your Proxies > Select The item > Item actions > Item unable to be purchased > Proceed (at pop-up notification) > done.

I have accepted an offer but haven’t been paid yet? What shall I do?

A

If the buyer has not paid yet don’t act upon it. Do not proxy anyone until you have received payment confirmation and you have the money in your PayPal balance. We believe 30 minutes is a reasonable time frame for waiting. On the contrary if you have made an offer your order will only be fulfilled once the payment has been completed and confirmed.

Can I get a refund if I don’t like my item OR it doesn’t fit?

A

No. With our app you are contracting a proxy to secure and buy an item which you choose in your selected size and colourway. We are an online marketplace linking buyers and sellers, and the sellers are not online retailers, they are independents which are buying products on the instructions you have given them.

What happens if my item is counterfeit?

A

Proxyeed is somewhat like a pre-order app, we only connect buyers with sellers for the latest and greatest items, which normally mean that counterfeiters haven’t gotten their hands on the item to be able to create a replica, BUT, on the rare occasion that this was to happen, then please gather up all supporting evidence you have to back up your claim, then you will need to create a claim at PayPal, AND also send us an email at disputes@proxyeed.co.uk If we are led believe any seller is using Proxyeed for imitation merchandise we will assist trading standards and law enforcement with any and all information at our disposal.

Why don’t I see the names of the Proxy?

We hide the identities of all users to keep the platform safe, and fair at all times.

Are bids binding?

A

As of right now no, but we ask that you only make a bid if you intend to buy the product to make the app more transparent and effective for everyone. We are working on an update that locks you in once a deal has been accepted. This is to offer the proxy security, and ensure users aren’t mis-using this functionality.

What happens if I make a bid and it gets accepted?

A

If your bid gets accepted you will be directed to a PayPal check out for that item and asked to pay immediately. If you don’t pay immediately, you will lose the ability to purchase the item and the item will become available again with the seller.

I have been sent the wrong item, what shall I do?

A

Contact us immediately with all the supporting evidence you have, we will investigate with both parties, and we will advise the necessary next steps.

What happens if I receive an item and its damaged/not as described?

A

In the rare occasion you receive a damaged package from the Proxyeed seller, then we firstly need you to establish whether this was damaged in transit OR was the packaging intact? If the packaging is damaged, then this is something we recommend you taking up with the postal service used. If you believe the item was damaged before posting OR not as described then please revert to PayPal and follow normal proceedings.

What happens if the proxy cannot get my item?

A

If for whatever reason the Proxy was unable to get your item, they will select the option in the app ‘unable to get item’, and then you will be notified and refunded. If a proxy is unable to fulfill an order more than twice they will be removed and banned.

What happens if I don’t receive my item?

A

Please allow 10 days plus the full delivery times of the postal company to have elapsed before raising a query of this nature. If, after this time, you have still not received your item, please create a claim at PayPal.

Why do you charge a fee?

A

Obviously we are a business, and intend to make money, but we charge a fee to provide the service we do, and police and keep the app safe, and make it as easy as possible to connect buyers and sellers. We intend on always providing the lowest priced marketplace out there.

How much is the fee for selling on Proxyeed?

A

The fee is 5% to sell your items on the app. Remember there is also the PayPal fee.

Is there a cost to use Proxyeed?

A

Proxyeed the app is entirely free to download, and free to browse, and also free to purchase items. The only time you pay is when you are selling an item, and then you pay a small fee.

Do I have to have a PayPal account?

A

Yes, a PayPal account not only offers you a quick payment system but is also part of our two step safety verification process for both party’s peace-of-mind. PayPal protects you in the event of a claim.

Is there a cost to use PayPal?

A

Yes, PayPal charge fees to the seller, NOT the person buying. If you are selling on the app PayPal charge a fee which varies between 3% and 4.5% – This is dependent on the individuals PayPal account (i.e. Business Vs Personal & how much revenue they are doing on PayPal).

PayPal provide a secure payment gateway for people to transfer money when paying for goods & services. This keeps both parties safe.

You make payment to the proxy via PayPal through the app.

Who am I paying to get my product, am I paying Proxyeed?

A

You are paying the proxy directly, Proxyeed is simply a platform linking buyers and sellers.

What are the tiers for the trusted badges?

A

50 successful proxies will give you bronze status. 100 successful proxies will give you silver status. 200 successful proxies will give you gold status.

How can I become a verified proxy?

A

The verified proxies are friends and family who we can personally verify have done over 100 transactions with a 100% success rate.
